Looks like I’ll get my Fool’s Gold adventure in August. Dan and Ken F. are in for sure so that’s 3 strong which is enough, but the more the merrier. So here’s a shout out to Tallahassee MTB riders, join other like minded individuals for 50 (or 100) tough but gratifying miles in the North Georgia mountains followed by food, live music and beer. You can race it or ride it, whatever tickles your fancy.
I’m thinking I’m gonna race 50. My training is getting back on track and I’ve got 3 more weeks of riding and 1 week of resting.
Here’s a pic of Erica (far left) and Riley Fowler (far right) at the thursday track meet last night. This is supposed to be 2 and under race, I think that other girl is sandbagging or maybe she’s 2.9 years old or just big for he age.
