After a margarita (or two) I couldn’t stand it anymore and had to get one of those surplus chinese carbon frames off eBay. Well I guess all carbon is chinese so I guess it’s just a cheap surplus carbon frame. I’ve thrown it together with some parts from the garage bins and BLAM here it is.
I put my sorta-race setup on the KHS XC-team today. Put the crossmax sl front wheel on with a Bontrager XR and a little bit of Stans. The 09 is a major design change. Shock is in the front triangle now. Only one bottle cage. I guess they were the last of the big box manufacturers that had 2 bottle cages on a dual suspension after the Scalpel changed this year. Orbea still uses the old Scalpel design
